It's getting more difficult to find as Dr. Pepper / 7Up, a subsidiary of Cadbury Schweppes, considers it a "regional" brand. It seems to me that they are only keeping the brand in locations where they had long term agreements with bottlers - until those expire. With 4 major root beer brands (A&W, Hires, Stewart's, and IBC), Cadbury Schweppes probably wants to focus on fewer brands - especially on the mass market end (i.e. A&W seems to have been picked over Hires).

You might check with If Ands Butts (see the shopping page here for a link). I believe there was a company in Texas that was bottling it with real sugar instead of corn syrup.
