I looked on the forums a bit, but as I am a beginner I have no idea of the procedure to force carbonate root beer. I see hoptech has a soda siphon. Is this good? What is the procedure for forced carbonation? Help! Thanks!

Using a soda siphon should work Just fine. I have made a variety of italian sodas using one as well. The biggest issue is mostley with cleaning the top siphon Part. The guy at hoptech is good and also sets several flavors of rootbeers and cream Soda. As to the siphons you can get then from various places including Target (online, they never seen to carry the stuff locally.)
