I'm just wondering if there is anyone out there that remembers Brownies root beer, brewed in Minneapolis in the 1930's and sold primarily in the midwest portion of the U.S.? My long deceased grandfather was the sole proprietor and chief chemist of the company. Unfortunately, he passed away prior to my birth. Because of this, I was never able to find out much information regarding Brownies. I guess that I am trying to find individuals who drank it back when it was popular and can let me know what they thought of it.

That was a little before my time, I'm afraid, but from the label you used in your avatar (nice!), it appears to be a different (and previously unlisted) brand. Can you email a picture to rootbeer at root-beer.org so I can add it to the brand database? _________________ Bottoms up!
