Where in Michigan are you? And what varieties of root beer do you already have in your store? I'm just curious. Not only do I collect bottles, but I have also been challenged to come up with 60 different bottles for a friend's 60th birthday this summer. I can get to MI easily, and would drive for things I didn't have. Thanks,

Hey Centaura, If you are still in South Bend I have a small store in Elkhart, IN located at Heart,s Desire Antique Mall booth #42. I don't know if I have anything you have not tried yet, but I keep about 15 different root beers on hand at any given time. We will be getting some new ones in about a month. We also have many different sodas all in glass bottles. Stop by and see what you think. If you give me a heads up I can meet you there to try some root beers. We also carry many nostalgic candies and some different root beer mugs to enjoy your favorite brew out of.

Thanks for the info, I will look you up. I saw that you had Americana and Triple XXX, two bottles that I don't have. I had been to the Triple XXX restaurant in Lafayette, but they told me that they didn't bottle their product. I am mainly a glass bottle collector, but have picked up a few other odd items to serve as decor in the room with the bottles.

Hearts Desire is open Tue. thru Sat. 9a.m. to 6p.m. and Sun. 12p.m. to 5p.m. and closed on Mondays. Just to let you know.

Centaura, The last time I was at The Triple xxx in Lafayette they did not have their root beer on draft. I don't know if there was a problem or not, but all they had were the glass bottles. Clover Club Bottling in Chitown is bottling the Triple xxx root beer right now.

Howdy, thanks for the info. I managed to get off of work early yesterday and stopped by. You actually had 4 different bottles that I didn't have in my collection, and I was able to get a dozen more for the 60 bottle challenge that I've been given.

The XXX that I'd been to I think was a stand, and not their main restaurant. I had been planning on making a special trip there to find the main restaurant, but now I have the bottle I'm set. But like I said, thanks, I got 4 new bottles that I didn't have. Do you know if you're going to get any Dang? To try to bring this back to the topic of the thread. I don't have a bottle of that yet, nor had I heard about the 'butterscotch' rootbeer that the gentleman mentioned.

The Dang is not a sure thing. I will let you know as soon as I do. The Dang Butterscotch is awesome root beer, and the one I want the most right now. Thanks for stopping by the store. We are a little low on some things right now, and will stock up in the next few months. I believe that there is only one Triple xxx in Lafayette, right before the entrance to Purdue.
