So I like my root beer and have just started looking for good bottled brands. I read some of the others with peoples favorites and have tried a few that I could find easily. Based on the following comments anyone have some other suggestions
1) Stewarts - really liked this one, so far my favorite
2) Bulldog- Good taste and aftertaste but just doesn't have as strong of a flavor as I think i like
3) Henry Wienards - Wierd taste, alright, but won't buy again.
4) IBC - A good fallback as to me it seems very middle of the road.
Thanks

Some of the brands I can suggest which I find very appealing. This is no paticular order.
Blumers,great root beer taste
Hank's,smooth as silk
Boylan's, robust
Dang Thats Good Butterscotch Root Beer, yummy sweet
Sprecher's, more mass produced but good
These are all in glass bottles, the best way to drink good root beer. Also stop at any local root beer stands,we have one here that has pretty good root beer. Hope that helps.

So many Root Beers and so little time...
Boylans Natural Root Beer (the Boylans Bottle Works is good, too)
Capt'n Ely's
SeaDog
Sparky's
Thomas Kemper
The fact is that there are so many good Root Beers out there it's hard to break 'em down. There's lots of mediocre ones out there, too. _________________ http://root-beer.blogspot.com

Thanks for all the ideas. I picked up some hanks today from costplus. They had a bunch of Boylan's soda, but no rootbeer Same with thomas kemper. They said the flavors vary and rotate so hopefully soon! Also found a couple soda shops that I plan at stopping at.
Happy Tasting! |

If there's a Wild Oats around you they usually have Boylan's Natural line. Depending on where you are there may be others. |
