Sodaking.com--BEWARE HORRIBLE SERVICE--Anyone else??

This is just a note to anyone considering ordering root beer from Sodaking.com. I have gotton terrible service. They first messed up the gift certificate that was purchased for me for Christmas. In February when I finally got that taken care of and placed my order, it stayed in "Pending" until March. It is now "Processing" and has been that way for almost a month now.

After numerous e-mails that has been virtually no attmept to rectify the situation and most of the time I do not even get a reply.

Have any of you had similiar experiences?? If so how did you finally work it out??

It's always taken a long time for me. They seem to not have a full stock of brands and don't post that on the website. I am surprised that they haven't responded to your communication, though. In the end, it's always worked out for me.

Come to think of it, I placed an order there once and never received anything - not even a reply to my question about the status of the order. Then again, my credit card also wasn't charged.

Please let us know if this doesn't get resolved in the next week or two. We link to that website as a convenience to our visitors, but will remove the link if our visitors receive poor service.

i had a similar experience, but like Jon, i think they just don't have a lot of stock so it takes some time to get all of what you ordered in. i think it took over 2 months to get my order but i did get it all. i never tried to contact them or anything though so i am not sure how they handle that.

If I ever order from there I make sure I order early. The earlies I've ever received a delivery is one month. The last time it took at least 2 months to receive my Mason's Root Beer. If they would communicate better and explain what's going on, I would understand. They never communicate unless I do first.

I put in a large order of almost 20 different bottles, and while it took several months, and no reply to an email the rootbeer did eventually arrive. And they didn't charge me until when they shipped. On one hand, it was nerve-racking to not hear from them when I tried to put in an address change (it took over three months for my order to come, within that time I got a job and unexpectedly moved), I did end up getting everything that I wanted. I had another company that I had ordered from online deliver much faster, but they subsituted for things that they didn't have, but with things that I already had in my collection.

I also placed an order with this company. Took 4 weeks for delivery and 3 bottles were broken. I sent them a message regarding the broken bottles and they said they would replace them or refund the difference. After three more emails sent over the period of two months. i never saw either or heard anything.

Another odd thing to note about that company is whether you live next door to them, or accross the country, the shipping was always $30.48. Now that was a year ago, maybe that has changed.

Yes, I agree with all that has been written about Soda-king. Large variety of root beer, but it takes FOREVER to get your order. Mine was almost 6 months before my order was complete. They also do not communicate very well with what is happening with your order.
