TASTING NOTES: Great flavor but incredibly sweet. The best root beer I’ve had this far. Hanks has heavy vanilla overtones and would probably be called more of a cream soda than a root beer. That being said it excels in flavor making it a great drink.

TASTING NOTES: It has a good balance of flavors but is incredibly sweet. Unlike Barton Springs Root Beer, WBC Goose Island Root Beer finds it’s sweetness not in a creamy vanilla form but rather a more classic sugary sweetness. The flavors are somewhat lost in the sweetness. It’s good but not great.

TASTING NOTES: This root beer is very unique. It isn’t very flavorful at all nor is it creamy. It is very light but the flavors that are present are pretty good. It isn’t very balanced, the sugar overpowers the spices.

TASTING NOTES: I would probably call this a carmel soda before I would call this a root beer. It is very sweet and the caramel is way too overpowering. In their defence they did call this a caramel cream root beer but there is so much carmel that the more subtle root beer flavors are completely lost. The aftertaste sticks with you for a while and it isn’t very pleasant. It almost tastes like butter after a while.

TASTING NOTES: Very good root beer. Heavy on the cream but still delicious. Lots of sugar, so much that I find it hard to finish. Flavors are not well balanced on account of the heavy sugar.
