I guess this was the wrong place to ask for info, even the man I was asking about is a moderator and contributor here and he didn't have the courtesy to reply to my message.***INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT REMOVED***

This webite is mostly for research and the history of root beer. I'm sure the moderators have lives outside of this site as I don't see anywhere that they could be making money.

I'm sure if you wanted to pay Jon for his knowledge, he'd be on here daily answering all your questions. But as far as I know, he doesn't owe you anything and I believe you need him far more than he needs you. So to go off on your little rant only makes you out to be the real loser in this situation, as now, the only guy who can answer your question, will probably choose not too. More power to Jon for not answering his questions by the way.

From what I've found, all questions are answered. maybe not next day like you'd like. But they are always answered.

What I find most humorous is that nothing you are asking for is of a life or death situation. In fact, you could probably wait 10 or 20 years for a response and it wouldn't make a difference as your collection, as weak as it may be, isn't going anywhere either.

Have patience young one, and quit your crying. Nobody likes a crybaby.

I'm not a young man as you put it but I find it hard to believe that one of the people I was asking about is listed as a moderator here and not one person out of the 76 who viewed my original post even had the courtesy to mention that. I would be more than happy to pay Jon for his time and his knowledge on this matter but no one of you even had the courtesy to let me know whether or not he was the person I was looking for. I also wrote Jon himself thru his contact info here and he also didn't have the courtesy to bother to send me a quick replay that he would get back to me about it.

Only after I said something offensive did one of you have the time to respond, I guess that's why this site has a membership under 1000, nobody is willing to take the time out of their precious day to respond to simple question about whether or not Jon is a member here because I'm a newbie to your site. I thought a specialized site dedicated to such an unconventional collectible item would be filled with people who would love to help a "new guy" with his endeavors, but obviously this isn't the place to find help it's the place to be ignored for a week straight. It's good to see the main contributors and mod's don't have the time or inclination to assist a new member Rolling Eyes

Membership here - as well as assistance - is voluntary. Jon is wonderful contributor to this site, but, like many, he many not have time to check it every day, or even every month. I haven't heard from him in some time, so I'm not sure he is even receiving emails at that address.

You're approach is the equivalent of walking into a public museum and demanding that the curator meet with you instantly to answer all your questions. Then, when you don't get a response in a week, you put inappropriate graffiti on it.

Using this immature approach might get a response, but it's unlikely to be the one you want.

Thanx Kevin, I assumed Jon was someone who could be reached here after seeing him as a contributor with a contact e-mail here.
My bad,
Jim
