ok i brew and keg my root beer. i use 1/4 beer line. 45 feet of it. i still have too much foam. my CO2 is 28 to 30 psi. do i need to drop the psi? add more line? take away line? i need help, i'm hoping someone can help!

I assume you meant 4-5 feet of line, lol.

yeah, 28psi is pretty high for dispensing, at least for beer, and I would assume sodas can't be that much different in this. I would imagine that if you carbonate at that pressure, then drop the pressure down to 2-3 psi you should be able to solve the foam problem. You've definitely got plenty of beer line, so that shouldn't be your problem.
