Okay People--let get together here. What I am looking to do is establish a RB Exchange where we can trade brands among ourselves and get some stuff that is probably not available in our area. Please use this thread to post what brands are available near you and other members can e-mail and trade some brands in their area for some brands in yours. Store brands and generic brands are accepted along the the "higher end" brands.

Here is what is around here (Oklahoma City):
--Best Choice
--Braum's
--Lost Trail
--Way 2 Cool (sometimes)
--Frostie (this may be everywhere-not sure)
--Always Save
--Santa Cruz Organic
--Goose Island
--Briars

OK, I'm on board. This is the list of what I can find here in Madison, WI. (These are all bottles because I don't really pay much attention to what's available in cans.)

-Sprecher (and its diet counterpart)
-Berghoff (and diet)
-Goose Island
-Houdini's (made by Alder Brau)
-Blumer's (good stuff)
-Point (also good)
-Ol' Bob Millers (not sure if this is sold regionally or nationally)
-JD's Old-Fashioned (Viking Brewery)
-Baumeister's
-Jumpin' Johnny's
-Gray's
-Fitz's (this might be national)
-Cool Mountain (this one might be too)
-Seymour

That last one is pretty cool. The brewery bottles all of its root beer in those old 7oz(?) returnables bottles that were used back in the 40's and 50's by the regional producers who did soda delivery (think Ting). They may not say root beer on the bottles anywhere but still, its a great idea.

Anyhow, I'd be happy to trade with anyone for some bottles that I haven't tasted yet. Just let me know.

P.S. Good idea Kemperfan!

Interesting idea, although these days you can probably order just about anything over the web.

Abita
Adirondack
Berghoff (not sure if the local place still carries this)
Boylan's
Briar's
Hank's
Frostie
Ithaca
Saranac
Tops (supermarket brand)
Virgil's
Virgil's Bavarian Nutmeg (in the reclosable bottle)
Wegman's (supermarket brand. Distinct 'toasted marshmallow' flavor)

I can't get Sprecher's locally, but I have friends who bootleg it from Wisconsin when they visit relatives.

I don't see a point in mentioning widely distributed brands lthat are available anywhere, like A&W, IBC, and a certain brand I wouldn't list anyway because they adulterate their product with caffeine.

I've got an A&W drive-in within easy driving distance. Very Happy

Wish I could find:
Rollie's
