1) I tried 100% black cherry juice with light brown sugar. It came out tasting like NyQuil. Not so good.

2) Made some pumpkin soda. The whole house smelled like pumpkin pie. It was a hit. Many people liked it. It grew on you fast.

3) My next experiment was frozen berries. We will see how they come out. Tasted good before carbonation.

The frozen berries soda came out GREAT! I threw the frozen berries in a blender to create a mash. Then simmered that for 30 minutes with sugar and strained it. Added vanilla ale yeast and waited. I can not wait to drink another when I get home.

Long ago, I made wine from raisins using port yeast.
