Do you mean Kutztown? The root beer is ordinary and the birch beer tastes like paint stripper.

the Kutztown root beer goes flat almost immediately, doesn't hold a fizz for crap.

I find that a lot of root beer loses it's fizz pretty quick. My last root beer, Captain Eli's, went was going flat quickly but did it ever produce a lot of foam! It was like watching a dish washer loaded with the wrong detergent. Good taste though...

I once saw a bottle of home-brewed beer spew foam for at least 5 minutes. It was amazing.
