My local Cost Plus is selling some Maine's organic root beer. I thought it was OK but the flavor is not as full and rich as Virgil's or Bulldog's. While not bad, I didn't think it was all that great. ...

I think it is interesting you find Abita "strong". The spearmint flavor was actually quite easy for me to take so I thought of it as rather refreshing than strong. I suppose it's all about personal ta ...

I agree that Goose Island root beer is very sweet. The first one or two bottles taste pretty good because, as with every root beer, the taste is different. So it feels interesting so to speak. After a ...

Target stocks their own brand of sarsaparilla under the Archer Farms label. Has anyone tried it? I bought a four-pack a while back and finally had a chance to try it today. It was pretty bland stuff. ...

Soda-MN-Good,

I cracked open a bottle today in the hopes of having it with my lunch and I completely agree with your assessment. It is *way* too sweet and it definitely had a bit of caramel taste t ...

I bought a pack a while back and it is still sitting on my kitchen counter, waiting it's turn to be opened.

What didn't you like about it?

I find that a lot of root beer loses it's fizz pretty quick. My last root beer, Captain Eli's, went was going flat quickly but did it ever produce a lot of foam! It was like watching a dish washer loa ...

It was a good time to pick up some root be ...

There are quite a few negative user reviews on Bevnet.Com for this root beer and I was afraid that I wouldn't like it. It turned out great and I really enjoyed it. So why are some people so split on i ...
